> Rentoo (rentoo.az) is an online marketplace for renting things in Azerbaijan: tools and equipment, electronics, photo/video gear, sports and travel gear, event supplies, kids’ items, clothing and more. Private owners and rental businesses list items with a daily price; renters find them, chat with the owner and send a rental request for specific dates.

- What is Rentoo? An online marketplace where people and rental shops lend things for a while and others rent them. We provide the storefront, search, chat and a review system.
- How much does it cost to use? Signing up and posting listings are free. The owner sets the daily rental price.
- How does payment work? For now the parties settle directly, in whatever way suits them both. Payments through the platform are coming later.
- Is a deposit required? That is up to the owner. Discuss the deposit in the chat before the handover so the terms are clear to both sides.
- What if the item gets damaged? The owner and the renter agree on liability between themselves. We recommend photographing the item at handover and return and keeping agreements in the chat. If a dispute arises, write to us.
- How do you verify users? Everyone signs in with a phone number and a WhatsApp code, enters a date of birth (18+ only) and accepts the terms. After each rental both sides leave reviews.
- Can a rental shop or company list items? Yes. Sole proprietors and companies get a business account with a logo and unlimited listings. A moderator reviews the application.
- Is there a mobile app? Not yet — the website is fully adapted for phones and works in any browser.
